Randi Zuckerberg Joins Huobi to Assist in It’s Platform Future Development
Randi Zuckerberg, the elder sister to Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg has signed on as an adviser to cryptocurrency operators Huobi.
Randi Zuckerberg is herself a successful author and entrepreneur, the CEO of Zuckerberg Media, and creator of “Dot” – the hit children’s book and TV show.
Zuckerberg will join seven other experts on the committee, which is designed to serve as a think tank for the digital asset trading platform. Notably, the Huobi Chain Expert Advisory Committee will provide professional advice as well as support during the Huobi Chain Superhero Championship Program’s election phase.
The Huobi Chain Expert Advisory Committee is responsible for providing relevant advice and ideas on the future development of the digital asset trading platform.
Among its members are Jeffrey Wernick — investor and Bitcoin evangelist, Jihan Wu — CEO of Bitcoin mining company Bitmain, Steve Hoffman — the COO and co-founder of Zannel, Xiaolei Liu — Professor of Finance and Accounting & Director of Blockchain Lab at Guanghua School of Management in Peking University, Ooi Beng Chin — Fellow of Singapore National Academy of Science (SNAS) and Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at National University of Singapore (NUS), Don Tapscott — CEO of Tapscott Group, and Lon Wong — Founder & CEO of ProximaX.
The Singapore-headquartered cryptocurrency exchange Huobi has set up this advisory committee to provide comprehensive professional advice and insights on the blockchain technology, industry application, business model construction.
With Randi Zuckerberg currently not holding any position at Facebook, there should not be any conflict of interest, like in the case of David Marcus (Facebook’s blockchain head), who had to step down as a board member of Coinbase recently.
36-year-old Randi Jayne Zuckerberg was born in Westchester County, New York, and it’s safe to say that had younger brother Mark not founded Facebook, Randi would have done just fine for herself. Long before Facebook, her success in the business world led to her becoming a regular contributor to the TV program Forbes on Fox.
