LTC Officially Live on Gemini Exchange, Charlie Lee Sees It As a “Mission Accomplished ”
The cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has officially added Litecoin to its exchange, Charlie Lee, Litecoin Founder sees it as a “mission accomplished ”
The listing announcement was first mentioned during Litecoin Summit last month. The digital asset has today gone live the exchange in several trading pairs including USD, BTC, ETH, and ZEC.
Ever since MtGox announced Litecoin support in 2013 and failed to deliver, I’ve been on a mission to get LTC added to exchanges to help increase liquidity.

Gemini cryptocurrency exchange is based in the United States. It is a centralized exchange that provides trading of digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Zcash.
Gemini also provides fiat-to-crypto trading pairs. The exchange intends to increase its portfolio from the current assets starting with the listing of Litecoin (LTC).
Litecoin (LTC) is one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies in the market. It is known as the silver to Bitcoin’s gold. The virtual currency has been created as a fork of the original Bitcoin network and aims to be the virtual currency for daily transactions.
Lee has strived to get LTC listed on as many reputable exchange as possible. The LTC founder has done very well so far in his mission, as the currency cites Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Poloniex and now Gemini amongst its listed exchanges.
